I build software for a living, mostly web apps and the backend behind them. When I’m not at a keyboard I’m usually out with a camera.
01 Engineering
Frontend, backend,
and whatever sits between.
I studied Electrical and Computer Engineering and got my start writing frontend code. Over time I got more curious about what happens after a request leaves the browser, so these days a lot of my work involves system design, backend services, APIs, and the integrations that connect them.
I still like owning a feature end to end. In my experience the tricky bugs tend to live where the UI and the backend meet, and that’s usually where I end up. Give me a rough idea and I’ll get it working first, then go back and make it faster and easier to maintain.
The path
Carrying a camera makes me slow down and actually look at the streets I walk every day.
02 Photography
Around the city.
Photography is what I do to get away from the screen. No deadlines, no tickets. Mostly I walk around Thessaloniki and try to see a city I know well a bit differently.
This is a small selection, not everything I’ve shot. Click a photo to see it bigger, then use the arrow keys or swipe to go through the rest.
